Graffiti Verité is a documentary by Bob Bryan that sits down with the writers in 1995. It covers the Los Angeles graffiti scene and was one of the first documentaries to approach graffiti as a fine art form and not just vandalism.
It features 24 artists including Chaz Bojórquez, Mear One, and Risk. Interviews, galleries, and blackbooks. This is a legendary piece of LA graffiti history.
It focuses on the technique behind the paint. It shows how to use different caps, how to control the can, and how the styles evolved. Graffiti Verité was way ahead of its time and is a must watch to understand the roots to the scene.
